I lay in the quiet, still room starting up at the dark ceiling, moonlight hitting the hard curtains again and again. I lifted my arm from under the sheets and touched two fingers to my lips. Warm, still warm. My Heart skipped a beat. I closed my eyes and imagined Kai’s hands on my waist and his breathe warming my face. His warm body pressed against me, him leaning closer and closer to touch his lips upon mine which sent my heart speeding and made me dizzy. My eyes remained closed as I went over his words for the umpteenth time, “I think I’m falling in love with you.” I smiled.

It was light, if you could call it that. I was up and getting ready to met Kai again, like we did everyday though it was hard to set as a time as they didn’t seem to have heard of clocks or watches. I stepped out into the cold air. A few of them were milling around. I ignored there whispers and looks and walked on. Things had been a lot easier since I’d found Kai. My eyes soon feel upon his slim figure. He was sitting on a wall staring down into his lap. His lips were moving, he was singing. I sat down nest to him and listened to the soft growl of his voice. He stopped and smiled.
